…The music on their latest CD release, Florona, includes American shape-note singing, village music from Bulgaria and Sweden, and art music from 16th-century England and Spain. The 21 tracks hint at the amazing depth of the Social Band's repertoire and the care that director Amity Baker has put into arranging and developing their sound.
